I had my salad prep done in just a short amount of time. Much quicker than what I could make even with my good knife skills. The booklet even let you know which disc to use to make your veggies turn out just right. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants consistency in the slicing and dicing of their food. This was exactly what I was looking for. My wife & I had been talking about purchasing a dedicated food processor, but we decided to go with this KitchenAid attachment instead, as it allowed us to keep to the a minimal amount of clutter on our counters. The blades and accessories come in a neatly well organized container that has a pictograph of each cutting blade to ensure they are put back into their proper place. The metal shell and drive attachment shaft is easy to insert into the Kitchenaid auxiliary attachment port, but be certain when using the multiple depth dicing attachment that you assert a bit of force on the attachment to keep it secured in the auxiliary attachment port, or it could slip loose and the entire food processor with begin to rotate.
Due to my arthritis in my hands, my expectations in the use of the above will enhance my skills in preparing gourmet meals.
I love this product! Makes it so easy to dice potatoes for frying. No more carpal tunnel pain. Fast and Easy! Just make sure that you are very careful on washing and drying the product cause its very sharp. :)
