The attractive Bistro 7 Speed 5 Qt. Stand Mixer is a handsome addition to any kitchen. A powerful 700-watt, 7 speed motor delivers up to twice the power of traditional stand mixers to tackle all your mixing needs. It features large, stainless steel mixing bowls with a rubber-covered handle for easy pouring and carrying. The splash-guard can be removed effortlessly and has a funnel attachment for easy addition of ingredients while operating. Attachments include a beater, a whisk and a non-stick dough hook. Additional attachments are sold separately. Easy to use with a lift-assist mixer head which locks into place and a rotating attachment head which maximizes mixing.

It's a well designed machine. All the parts fit together nicely for storage. The top is sealed under a transparent plastic dome that should keep flour dust and other contaminants from clogging up the motor. The mixing bowl is a very good size, big enough for large batches of dough, etc. I used both the whip and the mixer attachments to make a great sponge cake. I have future plans for bread and pizza dough using the dough hook. I put off getting a good mixer for a long time. The design and price drew me to this one. I am glad I took the plunge!
I recommend to purchase if you're looking for a solid, quality mixer...one that offers a higher wattage than most mixers out there at a decent price. I decided to go with this one because of the wattage offered, the color selections, and because I was tired of replacing my US manufactured mixers every few years so opted for something different. Additionally, I wanted to finally try a quality mixer but didn't want to pay high retail costs. Although a new purchase, I am very pleased. Mixes solid even with one mixing whisk (and this was an initial concern). BTW- It comes with a whisk, a beater, and an attachment for dough, plus a splash cover/guard and pouring attachment. Everything about this mixer is solid which is fine for me since I like things on the finer side... I love that the mixer includes a splash guard because this keeps things clean. I wanted the black mixer but it was out of stock so opted for the off-white color since I didn't want to wait. To my amazement, Bodum's off-white color mixer was the most perfect color for my kitchen, as the off-white is really a cream color and blends in perfectly with the cream on my tile backsplash. Overall, I'm just very, very pleased and look forward to baking more just because of this mixer. I honestly just LOVE staring at it so placed it where easily visible in the kitchen. One last thing, I'm a big critic and never, ever rated anything 5 stars before and rate all my purchases. This mixer gets 5 stars from me!!!!

It was a gift for my daughter ,and received many YA!' my grand daughters are learning to cook and they just loved it.My daughter usually keeps her counters clear but she said it looked wonderful on her white marble counter.So thank you again Wayfair.
This mixer is fantastic! The big mixing bowl is a bonus.Its quiet and efficient and didn't cost a fortune to own.If your looking for a mixer that will do the same job as the more exspensive ones,this is it.I will be purchasing more from the Bodum company
