Due to my husband's crazy work schedule, I was stuck assembling this by myself...Now, I AM typically the one that sees the vision while assembling things, and follows instructions as they are presented. I must say that the instructions were laid out as straight forward as they could have been, and assembly was a breeze, even for a mom on her own. The only thing I did differently from how the instructions said was I assembled the bed in place in the room, starting with the bottom bunk and then adding the top bunk on top and putting it together that way. The instructions stated to assemble the bottom, and then assemble the top separately, and then move the top half on top of the bottom half. If that makes sense. I just did it differently because it would be easier in this small room, and with 1 person. I don't think I could have lifted the entire top section and also line everything up all by myself. My height did help with that. I'm 5'11" and I would have had trouble reaching the bolts that needed tightening and placing the Bunkie boards in if I were a few inches shorter. The bed was received in near-perfect condition, with the only "issue" being a small imperfection in the wood that was located near the slats in the footboard. It won't affect the functionality and frankly is only noticed when looking for it. I ended up having EXACTLY the correct number of hardware items that were needed to put the bed together, so be very careful, as I was, not to lose any because there aren't extras included! The assembled bed is sturdy, and holds my 125 lb. and 60 lb. sons nicely. Though the weight limit is stated as 165 lb. per level, I exceed that (by quite a bit, unfortunately) and did test the bottom bunk out without issue. It felt completely sturdy under me while I was on it, no creaking or anything, but I was being VERY careful. I would not trust the top bunk at my weight. We did purchase this thinking we might be able to use the full size bunk for the grandparents when they were visiting, but I just wouldn't trust it for more than one person that will exceed the weight limit. The finish/ color is portrayed very well in the photos! I was very pleased with that and overall very satisfied with the bed!

My 4 year old loves her birthday bed! Great bed for sleepovers, playing, and imagination. Well made and sturdy. Requires a bit of patience and time to assemble. Paired it with Wayfair 6 inch firm memory foam mattresses. Very comfy for kids and adults.

These are beautiful and great space saving beds! I bought 2 of them for my Disney themed rooms in my vacation rental in Orlando. 2 beds are twin, and 1 full, so you can fit 4 kids in each room. They are well made, sturdy and look great!

Really enjoyed putting this bed together, and the kids really like it. I wrote a detailed comment in the email that was sent, but it seems to be missing, so I will go ahead and re-write this. The bed arrived as expected and it took about three hours to so to put together by myself. All pieces were easy to put together. I would recommend this bed for people looking to save room, have a stylish bed set up, and like to have lots of storage to keep the room tidy.

I bought this for my 2 boys and they love them. They are very sturdy and fairly easy to assemble took me about 2 hours. Also, these beds can separate into 2 full beds which is nice if my boys ever decide to have separate rooms.

It took us 3 hours to assemble. It looks great and my daughter loves it. I am not sure it is as sturdy as I thought. I don’t think anything will happen because my daughter is not too wild. Unbeatable price though and I love the storage under the stairs and I can add a trundle if I want.

I purchased this bunk bed in the expresso color for my two young sons who are 3 and 5. They needed more space in their room, and this seemed like the best option. I was looking for something that held a decent amount of weight, had storage drawers, split into two beds and was built very sturdy and strong. I also wanted a full bed on the bottom, so my kids had the option of sleeping together if they wanted to for the time being. After searching tons of websites and looking at hundreds of beds I chose this one. So far I am very happy with my purchase. Between my husband and I it took a couple hours to put this together. The instructions were pretty straight forward, and all of the pieces arrived in the box. The bed seems very solid and well built, and the kids seem to easily get on and off the bed. The higher weight limit will also keep them in these beds for a while. At first I wasn't a big fan of the slide out drawers, but they work just fine. Great purchase!

This bed is simply amazing. We have a 13 year old and a 6 year old sharing a room and it simply wasn't fair to think of putting the 13 year old in a top bed that was just a twin. We knew they'd be sharing for a while and needed a bed with a high rated top bunk weight limit. This was everything we expected and more.
