This bed is simply amazing. We have a 13 year old and a 6 year old sharing a room and it simply wasn't fair to think of putting the 13 year old in a top bed that was just a twin. We knew they'd be sharing for a while and needed a bed with a high rated top bunk weight limit. This was everything we expected and more.
This bed is made of high quality materials, and it's obvious great craftsmanship and design were employed. The bed is true to the picture, but the beauty of the grain of the wood doesn't come through in the pictures...it has to be seen with the eye. I am posting a picture that attempts to showcase how the wood grain comes through the 5 layer finish. A great product at a great price!
Love the color and how it was built, it is very sturdy and I am not worried at all about it breaking. I love how the company sent frequent texts of where our order was and when it was being delivered. We even ordered our mattresses for this bed frame, the comforters in the photo and also a dining room set from wayfair because we loved the serve and quality.
My 2 girls (4 yr and 6 yr) both love their beds. It is really durable and well built. You need atleast 2 people to build it but it is very easy. As long as you can read and follow instructions and know how to operate a screw driver you should be able to build it in 4-5 hours. The best thing I like about this piece is you can separate it into 2 beds and put the stairs anywhere. But the best thing of all is the weight limit. For the upper bed they say the wait limit is 400lbs, which is no exaggeration. I am 200 lbs and sometimes my kids want to sleep with me and I was able to get on top of the bed and sleep beside them with no issues except maybe getting up the stairs which are little narrow for an adult my size.
Took about 8 hours to put together by myself. You definitely need help lifting the top bunk to assemble. It would have been nice to mark the box with the main instructions because we purchased two of these which came in a to
