Beautiful chocolate dark wood. It can be an easy putting it together task if I do not have a toddler telling me what to do . We are pleased with this product.

Great fireplace. Flames and logs realistic and the bookshelf storage is a nice touch. Like others have said if you are on the fence about it just buy it, it was a great addition to our living room. My pictures aren't great but wanted to get a close up of the logs and flames. Also on another note - great customer service from Wayfair for this purchase, and plan to buy many more things because of it.
