Third floor apartment with a small breed dog is near impossible. These grass mats are perfect. We line the tray with a piddle pad to cut down on the smell.

Works great! I first remove the artificial grass in my shower and rinse all urine, then I rinse Top Tray and Flush the Bottom Tray full of Urine; Very simple!
