We bought our first dispenser several years ago. It works great and we have four large dogs. It has stood the test of time and I would definitely recommend this product for large dogs and especially if you have more than one dog. We have four dogs and they empty it about every day.

Along with filtering the water, it also slows the water flow a bit so you don't spill when placing the reservoir on top of the bowl.
