I already have the larger 3' x 3' and the 4' x 4' pens that I use for whelping/weaning litters. I got a Chihuahua puppy and didn't need anything that big and heavy so I got the 2' x 3' pen. It is actually heavier than the midsize pen which could be a good thing for a stronger dog but I was hoping for something lightweight and easily portable. Midwest is a great company with quality products that I've been using for years and this is obviously a quality product. The downside is getting the floor grate in. With my other pens, it is awkward but doable. This smaller pen took an hour with a hammer, pliers, wedge and a lot of sweat to get the floor seated properly.
This is a well made great pen for a new puppy. The elevated floor grate helps keep things high and dry. Good potty training aid.
I raise puppies and have used these for years. A must have for easy training and cleanup.
This is a wonderful crate for any stage of your puppy. I love this crate and feel the price was very affordable especially getting the grate.

Great for puppies an easy to clean
I like this kennel cage I need to put " our " miniture Dachshund in it more often it has a tray to clean it out easily there is 2 latch locks to keep the door shut and the bars are spaced closely together to keep him from escaping he could get through 2 " and especially 2.5 spaced bars until he was 3 months old.
