This sofa is firm, sturdy & high quality. The center support leg is short & do not touch the floor (not sure why). I extended this leg by gluing a bottle cap at its base to make up the extra distance; worked great! The cushion padding is good & feels comfortable. In all, its a good purchase if you're serious about not being disappointed.
