I am so pleased with the purchase of this table. It is a nice solid table. The color is a dark walnut in color and the trestle base gives a solid, substantial look. The table edges are rounded so no sharp edges and this reduces the table top surface by an inch if that is important to you. The table top has some random divets to give a more aged look... Wasn't too much but I didn't expect it based on the online description. My only critique would be that I do wish there were more pictures of this table (like table top, closer detail, etc.) to give the customer a more thorough look.
I'll start with the redundant phrase, I didn't know what to expect when ordering online having not seen this table in person. But, cue the angels singing. This is exactly what I wanted. I had looked all over my town for a table in my price range and the style I want. I wanted the trestle look to enable more seating options -- didn't want to mess with legs at the corners. I was hesitant this color would be lighter than I want and lean too orange. But it did not. It was indeed a coffee color. It goes perfectly in my kitchen. I also paired it with chairs I bought here as well: Pompon tufted side chair. I also bought the clock here as well: Oversized 36.25" Wall Clockby Laurel Foundry. Fairly easy to assemble. Very heavy. You'll need help. The box was opened during delivery which caused a small scuff on the corner. However, chatting with a representative online, he gladly resolved the situation with a discount. I repaired it with some crayons :)
Beautiful table! Absolutely love it. Looks much more expensive than it was. I get a ton of compliments. It definitely has a ‘worn’ look it is not a totally smooth finish (tried to capture in image). BUT these marks are not obvious from a distance. Finish is a beautiful dark brown. Large solid base.
We couldn’t be more impressed with this table. It is the sturdiest table we’ve ever had. And it’s ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! It’s quite heavy (it was 220-250lbs). We ended up really loving the minor “wear” look it has. You can see the edges are a little worn (Intentionally) and the table has some intended minor distresses in it. And it really looks so nice. The color is exactly as portrayed. Nice medium-dark table. It’s a large table too. With the leaf in, you can easily fit 10 people. Absolutely LOVE it!
