This is a very long table with built in leaves. It is not as wide as most dining tables but makes it easier to move around it when chairs are in place, etc. Color is as pictured. Assembly definitely requires two people since it is quite heavy, but no problems with assembly itself. We purchased six of the matching chairs. They are comfortable with large seats and high backs. Their assembly is tricky and takes a while, as patience is required. Overall, a really nice wooden set that is well built and a great value. The top is distressed a little to give it a rustic feel. However, the pattern is too precise and we would've liked it even more if the distressing marks were more . random
Beautiful sturdy table. Huge if you put all of the leaves in. I didn't realize until I got it that it has distress markings on it but I like them. Paired it with 2 Liberty Parsons Dining Chairs and 4 Benton Side Chairs. I love my new room!
Great table, easy delivery once it was finally in stock. Like other reviewers said it's very heavy but easy to assemble. The wood looks nice but would be nicer without the distressing. All the chairs fit all the way under the table with zero leaves or two leaves - with one or three leaves some of the table legs interfere with pushing in the chairs.
This has been the perfect table for my needs. I have a family of three, so the table is just the right size for us, but we also host up to 20 people for dinner on the weekends and the table opens up to fit everyone comfortably. The leaves are easy to store and put into place. My mother liked the table so much she bought one for herself.
It's just what I thought it would be. Great size, love that it's a bit narrower, and pretty easy to put together. It took my husband and me about an hour.
Nice table! I was looking for a table that would expand but was still narrow! This table is 38 inches wide which was perfect for my needs! It was very hard for me to find a table that was only 38 inches wide! This was the ONLY one I could find! It was pricey including the 8 chairs I wanted but I had no choice! But it is a nice table other than the distressing - too bad they had to do that to such a beautiful table. It is what it is!
I love my new dining table. We call it our farm table. Nicely constructed sturdy and very handsome in my over sized kitchen. I cannot wait to have all of my family sitting around it on all special occasions. We are extremely pleased.
Love the table! The height is a little taller than I wanted and the leaves are self storing I wish they were the butterfly leaves! Putting it together took s little while but we finally got everything to match up!! I love the length and it looks great on my porch!
I love the dining table. The instructions were pretty straight forward with the table and there has been no issues. The description is accurate to what I received and the quality is good compared to something similar.
Love love love...this table starts out small, which is what we need, but with the three extensions we can easily seat 14-16 for holidays and special dinners. The leaves are self-storing, which is a huge bonus. When you extend the table the legs separate so what starts as 4 legs when it's small becomes six legs when it's extended. This gives the table much needed extra support for all the leaves. Very easy to extend, it just glides apart. I agree with the other reviewer in that the "distressing" is a little too regular, but it doesn't detract from the beauty of the table at all. Not as dark brown as the picture, it's more of a deep honey tone, but it would work with all décor. Plus, after I bought it it went on sale for about $400 less, and Wayfair gave me the difference in credit so I bought four Parsons chairs to finish the set! Still waiting on the chairs, but here's a picture with our 5 ft. bench next to it. We will put two Parsons chairs on the other side and on each end, so without extending it easily seats 6, and with a folding chair on the opposite side of the bench we could fit 8 if we needed.
