We purchased this sofa sight-unseen and waited about 4 weeks to receive it. Well worth the wait. The sofa is gorgeous, incredibly well-made, and super comfortable. We were a little concerned about the ostensibly low back, but it actually lends itself to various comfortable lounging positions, especially in the back corners.
The previous reviewer might be used to over-stuffed, very yielding upholstered furniture. And sure, sometimes thats what you want in a couch. The Atwood IS firm--no doubt about it--but it is not what I would call hard. Very comfortable, good for curling up, even--add some accent pillows for extra comfort if wantedneeded. Its even comfortable enough to sleep on. Very deep seat. Very clean lines. Impecable upholstery. Really, a perfect sofa.
This couch is the perfect combo of simple elegance and comfort. Even my husband and brother in law say it’s is surprisingly super cozy. It is the preferred couch to sit on at home. (Good I think ))
I have this couch in my bedroom and I sit/lay on it every night to watch TV or to read. I love this couch...it's very comfortable and the material has held up very well in 2-1/2 years of constant use. I'm looking forward to enjoying this couch for many more years.
