We bought this on sale for our two main floor guest rooms, it was our first project involving light fixtures, so we had a few missteps along the way, but not because of the light. This fixture worked on our old 1940’s house and by the time we put the second one up, it was much simpler! We had to cut the chain to make it fit, but I hear thats quite normal for these fixtures. All together I think the total time for installation for one was about 1.5 hours BUT my husband is very particular and kept trying to be innovative. I bet it would take a shorter amount of time if you know what you’re doing ) All in all it looks GREAT and makes the room so much better. I rarely go in these rooms and now that’s all I want to do! Good quality and great light.
