Ask me what I don't love about this 18 light Sputnik Chandelier is the question? I was looking for a light for our dining room/family room area to compliment our liquid nickel fan and chrome light fixture in the foyer. The night before my husband and I are were watching a home remodeling show and they showed a Sputnik fixture. While looking at it through a TV show I said to my husband that light was absent beautiful and I would love to have one. The next day was our Anniversary and my husband surprised me with a purchase of my very own Sputnik light. As wonderful as he is he also surprised me agian by having the light fixture up before I came home. This light absolutely adds character to a room! It's one of those lights either you like it or you don't and I absolutely love it. The one thing I will say, yes the bulbs are expensive but, I went to Lowe's, checked out Home Depot, and Walmart online, none of the prices compared to purchasing (3) six packs of LED 40 volt Squirrel Cage lights for this fixture. But, you also need to remember LED bulbs are a lot cheaper to run and they will last a lot longer so I looked at it as a one-time investment. Yes, you definitely need to purchase a dimmer switch for this light. What is nice is that you can use this light as a "night light" to offset in the room as a relaxing centerpiece or as a full operated fixture for the room the light is place in. ** Also, when I was looking through reviews for previous Sputnik lights on Wayfair, there was a gentleman that took the base of the light and turned it upside down before he applied the polls to the light which made the light fuller. In my pictures you should notice that the base of the fixture is upside down which makes the light alot fuller on the top and bottom. I highly recommend this 18 light Sputnik Chandelier from Wayfair!!!
