Not many, if any, small vanity cabinets available at either Lowe's, Home Depot or Menards -- almost all were at least 24" wide, a little too wide for our small 2nd bathroom. This cabinet was perfect -- and the simple fact it has a drawer the entire width at the bottom made it VERY useful -- lots of cosmetics/stuff can be easily stored/accessed on a daily basis without hunting around through stuff simply piled up inside a big open box (which most small vanity cabinets are -- most have false drawer fronts and are simply a big open box). Had no issues whatsoever with the vanity cabinet -- came boxed very securely, had thin pieces of plywood around all sides and was in a very HD box. Arrived by FedEx ground -- and at least here FedEx always seems to treat the packages with a lot more care, so it arrived in perfect shape. No damage at all. Wished the top had some options in terms of color of the top as well as # of holes (and distance I suppose, for those that want to use a wide-spread faucet set). This top has the traditional 3 holes all placed close together for a regular handset. I wanted a single hole top for a single handle faucet without having to use an ugly plate to cover it up -- again, simply wish that was an option. But ultimately not a bad price for the cab/top and sink. Figure we can use the top/sink for at least a few yrs and always get a remnant piece of marble or granite made to size with however many holes we need at some later point. One last thing -- the shelf/wood above the drawer is about 16" off the floor -- so make sure your trap will clear. Ours did not so I had to have our plumber open the wall and move up the drain pipe (he said ours was put in way too low). I did have to cut out small notches to fit the water supply (the opening from top to bottom was not wide enough to accommodate in the back of the cab), but this again was simple and didn't destroy the cab. And for sure the final thing -- I had to notch out the baseboard and shoe molding for the back legs so that the vanity would fit snug up against the wall. This is most easily done with either an oscillating tool in a few minutes (or with a dremel tool -- would take longer -- or a utility knife -- LOTS of time and blades but can be done). But well worth it for having the furniture style cabinet. Overall, great purchase, very good price and very fast and good delivery. Very pleased with this purchase and with Wayfair's customer service.
Nice vanity for a small bathroom. Wayfair was easy to work with when the first one we ordered was damaged. They sent us another one within the week.
As you are doing right now, I carefully combed each and every review trying to weigh the pros & cons of not only this vanity, but of making a purchase through .com. Although I had to 'partially' butcher this vanity to outfit it with my current plumbing set-up (cut-outs, pictured, were: back of vanity/cold water supply (right); Right, back corner, above shelf for waste line (mine sits at 16" from floor); Center back inside shelf to accommodate P-Trap (yes, shelf is 15" from floor) and center back of drawer so it didn't hit the plumbing as you pull it out), it withstood all the modifications, and not to mention I absolutely cannot stop admiring it! (Plus, you will not find this size anywhere for this price!) {Forget about the product in white -- it's on back-order forever}. True to many other reviews, the cabinet is off-white. Based upon my tile selection (pictured) and glass mosaic back splash, I added a biscuit colored toilet, but a white (toilet) would work perfectly fine as the sink is a nice looking, fresh white quartz. This is a tall piece, so it works wonderfully for me (5'10") but I could see the need for a step stool for families with children. According to another review, legs are NOT adjustable. Also: Sink hole has a slight depression so water sits there after use. Lastly, if you're still on the fence, some encouragement: The first time customer 10% off first order made me willing to buy from a non-brick and mortar. TIP: Probably not a good idea to purchase the protection plan because chances are high you're going to have to make at least one cut to outfit to your plumbing/walls. This may void the warranty. I'd absolutely buy it again! No hesitation!!
Love this little cabinet, especially for the price. The first one arrived damaged but, true to their word, Wayfair replaed at no cost. There was a delay, but we were not ready to install so that was not a problem. The hardware is pretty, the drawer opens and closes nicely. Be aware that the lower drawer may cause a plumbing issue. We just relocated the trap above the line out and it was no problem. UPDATE: This little vanity survived a first summer in our rental property beautifully. Sturdy and great quality!
We absolutely love this vanity! We replaced a basic cheap pedestal sink in a small bathroom and our teenage daughter is loving the extra storage and counter top space. We love the softoff white color and the marble like quartz top is perfect for a bathroom.On another note, we had an issue with the first vanity we received- it had a large crack in it but Wayfair customer service was amazing and had it replaced in about two weeks!
