We love this log set. We have a wood burning fireplace. I was worried that the black soot already in the fireplace might have an odor when the electric log set is on but it doesn’t and actually makes the log set look more real. So glad we made this purchase. No more dragging in wood and having to clean up the mess
I’m so happy I bought this. I was skeptical that it would look “cheesy” fake, but it really doesn’t! Even my husband is sold, and he’s not easily impressed. I definitely think that having some kind of screen barrier helps with the fakeness and to his the power cord.
LOVE IT! I cant say enough about this. I think it looks better than many 700 fireplaces. It has bits of blue in the flame along with realistic orange and yellow. They even make it appear as though little flames are licking up in the middle of the log set. You can adjust the flame amount and speed, and there is a shut-off timer on the remote which is wonderful. There is also an automatic function that varies the flame which, I think, makes the fire fluctuate too quickly, but does add an additional dynamic element to the fire over time. I would definitely purchase again!
Very please! More realistic than I expected. The flames not only dance on the back of the firebox but they appear to come up between the logs as well. Five different intensities but the automatic mode cycles through them all making this even more realistic. Both the flames and the electric heater can be set on the timer via the remote. Excellent value!
So happy with this. We do not have propane so we wanted something clean and easy. Wow! Fake fire looks real. We purchased a much more expensive one and had to return it because it looked so fake. This one is a winner.
I am enjoying my new electric fireplace. I, too, have placed it in my wood burning fireplace. (I used my Roomba to clean out the ashes.; it worked beautifully on spot, of course my ashes were years old.) I am enjoying the ambience of a fireplace without the pollution of wood burning. I was hoping my dog would enjoy the warmth, since she likes to lie in the sun - maybe she will eventually. My only problem, not a big one, is how to conceal the cord. Currently I have some vases blocking it. Anyone have a better idea? It was a good purchase for me.
What a pleasant surprise! It arrived early. Set up in minutes and I have a very warm and realistic faux fireplace. Love it. Would recommend this purchase to anyone looking for an electric insert at a reasonable price.
We decided on electric logs as part of our renovation. With all of the burn bans, our wood burning fireplace was useless when we needed it most. After weeks of shopping around, we turned to Wayfair and chose the Mangano logs. I didn’t have very high expectations for the realism of electric logs, but must admit that I’m more than pleased! These are far above my expectations! Seems to be very well made, lots of “mood” options with the remote and surprisingly realistic. Very pleased. We did most of our remodel (blinds, vanities, faucets, tables, chairs, etc.) with Wayfair and the only complaint we have had is the horrible service from FedEx. I should take a star off because of FedEx but that wouldn’t be fair to the manufacturer of this product
I love this items, it looks realistic, heats efficiently, and the infrared is not drying to skin, nails and hair. Also, it was less expensive on Wayfair than the TV channel where I first saw it.
So easy to use. Just plug in and turn on.Like having a real fire.
