Very nice, low humming sound - not too bad, very low fountain but what is most important is that our pets are safe
So far our cat is drinking more water. Easy to assemble.
I like this drinking fountain for my cat. She isnt used to it as yet. She still prefers to use my bear fountain that isnt filtered. Yuck. Hopefully she will take to it. It has such beautiful light water tone. It came in white, I would have preferred the black that I ordered.
My cat used to always get up on the bathroom counter and wait for us to turn the faucet on- now he is usually satisfied with just this. Pros: Convenient size Cons: None

My cat was really bad about drinking. It had to have fresh water every time she ate, or she would not touch it. At first I got her a more expensive plastic water fountain. Kitty was afraid of the noise the pump made. She also did not like falling water. She hates getting wet. like most cats. I love this ceramic fountain not just because of the hours my kitty spends now playing around it watching the water running. The fountain also looks stylish. The sound of the water is soothing and the pump is much quieter than in the previous water fountain. It is a bit heavy, but it is pretty easy to clean. Also I don not have to worry about scratches and plastic leaks into the water. So it is much safer for my precious feline.
