My dog uses this to get up onto the sofa. Cloth ones do not work on a wood floor because they slide around. It also goes with the decor.
It is a beautiful piece. Very sturdy. It arrived a day early, and was packed very very well. I would recommend ordering the pet stair steps.
Didn't buy this for any pet purpose. . I purchased this as an aid for my mobility-challenged wife to use for getting into/out of our very high bed. It did the trick - now she can get in and out of bed relatively easily with far less effort (& pain) using this stair. It's very well made and looks good as well .... strong and sturdy ..... and the carpet completes the 2 steps very nicely. Excellent step-up item and is highly recommended
