I wish we had purchased these for our last dog. He was small too & had to be lifted up onto the bed & watched carefully that he didn't jump down. With these stairs our 2 yorkies go up & down onto the bed safely. They have even started to make a game or who can get up the stairs first.

i like that the "L" bend on these stairs can be put on either side. It is sturdy, and I like that the fabric is washable. my pudgy little old man dog is really liking it
