I bought this as a trail. My little guy doesn't jump very well and was always waking me up in the middle of the night in order to put him in my bed. Other steps were so much more expensive and I wasn't sure he would even use them. These are very sturdy. I was actually surprised at how sturdy they were. It really has helped my little guy get up and down from my bed. Also, they all really love to play in the peak-a-boo holes. That was an added bonus!
