With a few baskets I got from World Market, this works perfectly as my crafting table!
DO NOT BUY THIS DESK, DESK JUST CRACKED ITSELF WITHIN A MONTH. YOU COULD FIT A PENNY IN THE GAP.
Front paint started to chip away within the first few weeks. Desk chair does not hit it, so we assume it is from our forearms resting on the keyboard. Very disappointed.
The desk looked good at first, then, after about 45 days, it developed a 1/4 inch gap in the center of the desk that runs from end to end. I monitor the humidity in my house and it has remained at 50% the entire time I have had the desk. I don't think the humidity in my house had anything to do with the gap. I feel like the wood wasn't properly dried before they used it to manufacture a desk. I'm not very happy. No way I can fix this
This desk was exactly what I needed. I was able to put it together very easily - all of the hardware was provided and everything lines up. I think it looks much more expensive than it was.
Sit right back and I'll tell you a tale, a tale of a wonderful desk! I needed a desk for working from home. A simple writing style desk is all I wanted. No drawers, just some shelves. This desk fit the bill perfectly. It has a large top to hold papers, laptops, monitors, etc. The shelves are great to a small printer, paper and other needed desk essentials. Keep in mind you may want to but a desk mat for the top, as the desk top is not flat. It has ridges, etc. A nice mat will take care of that. Assembly took about 30 min, and was very easy. Overall a great desk!
We have had the desk for a little over two months and the top has cracked.

There was an issue with middle and bottom shelves. The bolts are the same size as bolts for the desk itself. Because of this, I over tightened the bolts right through the shelves. Nothing in the instructions warned me of this. I would like new shelves as these are damaged. Pictures attached.
The desk is great - I love the rough finish and the dimensions were just right for my home office. Assembly was easy but do be careful with the different size screws (all come in the same bag) as others noted it as that can perforate the tops. If I had one gripe is that the desk feels a little flimsy when rocked forwards and back (something that naturally happens when pushing off the desk). Aside from that I'm very happy.
