Perfect fit for the space. Colors are vibrant.
This is a fabulous piece!! If you love vintage.. this piece is a must! Easy assembly! Great with the wayfair green lamp!
So, I guess I like this desk, but it's definitely a "you get what you pay for" situation. The wood is super duper soft, and the paint job is sort of chalky, so you can easily scratch it with your fingernail. There were a few places on the edges of the desk where it had minor chipping and splintering, because the paint had been banged up in shipping or something. It's just so soft that it was no surprise for it to be in that shape, but on the other hand, it's such a distressed finish that those chips don't show at all. The assembly was very easy, but it's not robust. The legs are thinner metal than I had expected and the bolts you can see in the pictures are not functional--they're just hollow chunks of metal, glued onto the legs. The legs are held onto the desk with 2 bolts and two 1/2" screws on each leg. The screws are on the outside of the legs and they show, although you wouldn't normally notice them unless you're looking closely. At least 1 or 2 of the "bolt" features on each leg was dented or scratched. All in all, it looks fine and works fine, but I would never expect this desk to survive a moving truck or anything like that. Lastly, the desk is a bit taller than I would like. I didn't look closely at the dimensions when buying it, but I find that the desk is much higher above all of my chairs than it needs to be. I'm looking more upward at my computer than I expected. It's not a problem, but I suggest that you think carefully about your chair and desk pairings. Instead of stars, I give this desk 1 shrug emoji as my rating.
I bought this desk to use as a work-from-home desk when we went into COVID-19 quarantine. It fits perfectly in the small space I had in my bedroom and is comfortable to work on. I bought a clear plastic desk mat (separately) for the desk top, since the surface is rough and unsanded, which adds to its charm, but irritated my wrists and arms. It was super easy to assemble and looks really nice. The colors are soft and beachy- not too bright. I love it! I bought the chair from Wayfair (also in the pictures) at the same time. They’re great together.
Beautiful desk I use for work which is has gorgeous and unique colors. Drawers are useful for office supplies. Very satisfied.
Super cute shabby chic desk. It did not match my office, but my mom bought it from me for my niece. As others have mentioned, it has a rough surface, but its lovely. Exactly as pictured and described. Wood seems to be of nice quality.
