I love, Love, LOVE my minimal floating desk in the walnut color. I bought the longer length. I hired a great guy from Task Rabbit to install. Honestly, it doesn’t require hiring anyone but I’ve got a janky wrist and my bf was recovering from hand surgery. Install is really a breeze! You just need to find studs. We mounted it to 3 since it was the longer length. During the pandemic I moved to a nicer, but smaller apartment. My living room is doing triple duty since I’m working from home — living room, dining room and now home office. I wanted to replace an old desk I had that was taking up too much space. I’ve included a few pics to show the desk. First pic shows the desk with the tray closed. Second is with the FULL width tray pulled out. So much space for things beyond mouse and keyboard WITH room to spare! Third pic shows that slim profile when closed. It looks balanced next to my accent shelves. Fourth photo shows the simple, yet elegant solution to cord management, but it does require some effort on your part. I could do better but it’s not a priority if they’re mostly hidden away. To recap... this desk is BEAUTIFUL, easy to install, with high design, form and function. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
Expensive but WORTH IT! I couldn’t find any other floating desk that had a keyboard tray so I eventually stomached the cost and purchased this one. It’s really well made and great quality. Thank you Wayfair!

I just received this and installed it right away. It’s incredibly high quality and easy to mount—just make sure you find the studs in the wall. Just what I was looking for! (I bought the larger version.)
I am truly pleased with the floating desk... My purpose was more decorative than anything else—It would be a bit small if I needed a true workspace (16 inches is smaller than it sounds).
