I had run out of room in my bookcase and had books in boxes and stacked on the ground. Finally got around to buying a second one and based on other reviews, this one seemed like it would fit my needs. Delivery - arrived on time and in good condition. Materials are packaged well. The box is pretty long and fairly heavy, so you may want a second person to haul it in and around your house. Assembly instructions - picture based, but very detailed. I highly recommend spending some time going through the entire booklet. There are definitely parts that I would have assembled backwards/incorrectly if I hadn't. Actual assembly - pretty easy, but does take some time. Crack open a beer or pour yourself a glass of wine and settle in. I think it took me a little over an hour. In use - this bad boy is a lot bigger than I expected. I looked at the dimensions and measured out the space in my house, but it still has more room than I thought. All my "homeless" books now have a home and there is plenty of room to spare! Guess I'll have to do some shopping (oh no!). Feels pretty sturdy and looks good. I haven't had it up and in use for very long, so I'll be sure to update if anything changes, but so far I am very pleased with my purchase! One thing I didn't realize until I got it - the back panel has a couple holes you can pop out if you want to put any electronics on there and run the cords out the back. Just a nice extra feature I wasn't expecting!
