A handsome and well-built piece of furniture. The specs on the Wayfair website say assembly is needed but that is only if you also got the hutch and all you have to do is attach the hutch to the credenza. It's very heavy.

Love this desk combo unit! My study is a small room - roughly 11 ft. by 12 ft. with some odd angles and notches so I needed a small desk with as much storage as possible. This is it! The wood color is just right and the pieces are sturdy and well made. Assembly was simply putting the legs on the writing desk and the corner connector and then pushing the parts together into the “L” shape. The parts are heavy but I managed on my own. Pieces arrived well packed in sturdy boxes with plenty of protection - no damage and no parts missing. I plan to put the free standing file drawer unit under the connector facing out into the room from the credenza desk rather than under the writing desk so there is more chair room under the writing desk. Perfect size for the room and me - Voila!
