This desk was just right for my at working at home. I love it.
I wanted a solid wood desk, that I could customize. I am super happy with how it turned out. I used General Finishes Milk paint for the legs and Varathane One-coat stain for the top. The only small complaint is the drawer glides somewhat cheaply. Not a dealbreaker.
Perfect for my home office. I haven’t decided what type of finish I want for it yet. Will either stain it or paint it.
Beautiful and simple desk, I love the color, was super easy to assembly.
I like that it is solid wood and is sturdy after being assembled. It comes unfinished, which I knew and bought for that reason so I could customize it, but I had issues painting (DutchBoy interior satin) and clear coating (Minwax). Even after sanding and prepping, the wood still spintered (almost like a fuzz) during painting/coating so I had to keep sanding to get it smooth and where there was splintering is still visible. I painted the legs/base and ended up just clear coating the top because the natural wood went well with my paint. I did practice with some stains on the underside and they seemed to take well. I replaced the wooden knob it came with to go with my decor. Had an issue with assembly, two of the hex nuts provided were not the right size and were too big to tighten but I used plumber’s tape to build up the bolt and get them to secure in place. For the price and despite some of the issues I had, I would recommend this desk over an MDF product in the same or slightly higher price range.
This well made but lightweight desk is being put to use as a breakfast nook table - and it looks great! I had been looking at nook tables but none seemed to fit the bill. I had a specific look I was going for and I was starting to think I wasn't going to find anything. But this little desk is the perfect size for my small nook and it looks great! I opted to buy the natural wood look and chose to do a whitewash on it. It came out wonderfully and I am very pleased with this purchase! Well done! Forgive the bare benches... I haven't chosen my bench cushions yet.
Absolutely love this desk! Very sturdy and easy assembly. Used antique white distressing kit and it is gorgeous.
I am very happy with the quality of the desk.
Very spacious. Super easy to assemble. All you need to do is attach the legs and put the knob on the drawer. Also came 3 days earlier than it was supposed to which was a short delivery window to begin with. Desk itself is the perfect size for two monitors with tons of additional writing space. Very happy with my purchase.
Like many people, I found myself ordering a desk to work from home during Covid. This one is exactly what I wanted. It’s simple and sturdy, with plenty of room to lay out my computer and all my books for studying. I’m really happy with it.
