I love the new desk. It is perfect for our space. My 14 year old was so proud of herself for being able to put it together by herself.
I really love this study table. It has ample desk space, is quite sturdy, and the industrial style looks nice. The instructions were easy to follow, although they have no written guidance – it only includes pictures with the various parts labelled. Thankfully I didn’t have anything missing, damaged or incorrectly labelled. Assembling the table was simple, but still took me a couple of hours because of the number of bolts, screws and other parts involved. The desktop material is some type of inexpensive plywood covered in sheet paper designed to resemble woodgrain, so be careful not to tear the sheet paper too much when inserting the bolts into the predrilled holes on the wooden parts; also, make sure not to bump anything hard or pointy into the plywood, because it may dent. The material on the top/bottom surfaces of the tabletop and other little parts is textured fairly well (2nd photo), so it’s not obvious that it’s sheet paper, however the edges of the table and other parts have smooth, untextured paper (3rd photo). I don’t notice it though, so it doesn’t bother me. Lastly – don’t tighten the frame’s bolts until the tabletop pieces have been placed on top and their holes have been aligned to the frame’s holes and secured with bolts. If you tighten all the bolts before fitting the tabletop pieces, the holes and edges will not line up easily. It took me a good evening to finish assembling this, but it was worth it :-)
Extremely pleased, the desk was easy to assemble and is of good quality. The size was perfect for my sons work area!
I am in love with this desk. Very well made. Took about 3-4 hours to put together. I am going to use it for many years!
This desk is even more beautiful “I’m person” than it is in the pictures and roomy too! I’ve got more than enough room for my laptop, external monitor, file organizer and pen holder. It’s perfect in my space and I absolutely love it!
So sturdy and well made. Looks great! It’s exactly what I needed and you can’t beat the price. It was so much nicer than I expected. A pleasant surprise.
