Very sleek and stylish. There is enough space to keep laptop and other things. Easy to assemble
Feel sophisticated and fun sitting at this desk! Love the goldbrass hairpin legs - visually doesnt bulk up the room. Extra shelf is helpful for a monitor and just clearing up pensstationary or putting a plant up for decor that doesnt then get in the way of working. Desk doesnt wobble much as other reviews stated but I could see it being a problem for heavyconstant usage. Will see how it holds up, its only been a week. Assembly was fine - does take two people. Can maybe get halfway with 1 person but you need 2 in the end to avoid chipping or damaging pieces. Table did come slightly chipped in the corners (see pic) but not enough to warrant a return. Also, had to hammer down one metal edge that was damaged during shipping and paint had shipped (see pic). Holes all line up, had some issues with the screwdriver hitting the tilted leg for two screws (one on each front leg, see pic). Didnt impact the security of the legs though. Drill isnt needed but do need some arm muscle to get the screws in! Id recommend screwing in all screws partially, then going back to finish them to avoid issues with desk cracking. Attached pic of leg color next to a copper pot if useful.
Absolutely love this desk! Its pretty solid and doesnt wiggle or squeak which is nice. It has a nice modern and minimalist look but keep in mind that this is primarily a minimalist type of desk since you cannot fit a lot on it without having to adjust other things. I like that though and was thankful I was able to fit a 34inch monitor on the little stand! 10162020 Update Desk is still going strong and I still stand with my review earlier this year. I’ve had this desk since 2019. It has moved places three times and still no major knicks or scratches. Still no wobbling or no squeaking. Quality is very great and looks great in every room.
Great desks for our home office. Came just before the shut down. Easy to assemble and pretty sturdy. Big enough to hold both of my monitors !
It's the perfect desk for me. Easy to assemble. It even had pre-drilled holes to show you where to screw in place. The white and gold legs matched my blue and gold chair perfectly. It also came with little scratch proof stoppers at the bottom of each legs. That was a bonus. Delivery only took 3 days. WOW ! Great desk, perfect size.
Turned out great! This was exactly what I wanted as a small desk/plant table. Assembly was very easy, seriously, that is not my forté but I managed to do it all myself until the last step when I need someone to hold a piece up. Overall took about an hour and no pulling my hair out. The wood is a really nice light grey/brown and there were no scratches or dings out of the box. Very happy!
Needed a simple, light weight desk for my son’s room at college. We put it together in about 25 minutes & it’s study. Happy with purchase!
I had high hopes for this desk based on the photo and description. The desk looks great in the photo but know you are getting what you pay for. Re: Customer Service: I ordered the Maple color and received the Espresso instead and customer service tried to convince me that I was wrong about what I received. I was not. Wayfair asked me to return it but I was in desperate need of the desk and unable to take the time or energy to go through all of that. I felt defeated. Re: Product: The edges and corners of this desk are very sharp and uncomfortable. It's stability is okay but not great, and the finish was already pealing from the edges.
My desk arrived with MAJOR defects. As soon as I opened the box I saw that it was a defective item. Nice color desk with lots of potential. Love the idea of what the desk could be. Every single time i order something from Wayfair, there are defects OR the item falls apart after only a month of owning it. Disappointed in the desk. I wouldn’t recommend the purchase. It’s also very unstable and moves as I’m typing. Feels cheap. Would have sent back and gotten a refund, but I have a demanding job and I needed a desk ASAP. I’ve added clear tape on the areas that are all knicked up and falling off. I won’t have this desk for long. It’s unfortunate.
It's not the sturdiest desk (as you might expect from the design) but it works! Good size for a small apartment, maybe too small if you want a lot of space to spread out. I assembled this by myself in an hour with one screwdriver.
