The 2 starts is mostly for the delivery condition. One of the pieces came broken but we we already halfway through putting it together before noticing because the damage was on a corner. We are waiting on a replacement from the company, so far it has been 1 week... I probably would have given the product 4 stars if the desk wasn't sitting in a heap in my living room.

There is a reason this desk sold out. It is gorgeous and sturdy. My son loves it, a great compliment to his bedroom. Perfect with all this " virtual" schooling, very stylish. Not difficult to put together my 14 year old daughter and 13 year old son did this. It is heavy / sturdy.
