Very nice desk! I love the front shelf that adds extra storage. Want not able to use center drawer because it made leg room less. Overall very pleased. Very sturdy.
Love this desk! Bought it for my new WFH status and needed a larger desk space. Took a bit to put together but that didnt bother me. Its also really heavy. Not real wood so be aware of that. And make sure you use wood glue on the dowels when putting together. Glad I purchased it!
Wanted a desk that wouldn't face the wall. This fits nicely in our spare bedroom... A little office space for the hubs...although most of the time he's on his laptop on the bed
The desk is well engineered for a 100% assembly-required piece of furniture. Don't try to rush the process. It took me 2.5 hours of deliberate effort. We were disappointed to find the right front drawer is about 1/4" too narrow for holding files, so we will have to get a stand alone filing cabinet.
So so so happy with this amazing desk! It goes perfect in my husbands new office! Had to set an alarm for when it came back in stock, they sell out fast! And I see why! It is perfect and I love the color of the wood!! Definitely will buy more from Trent Austin Designs!
One drawer front came damaged, found after it was all put together and on the last drawer. Added our own hardware to make it look nicer, not the best quality.
Very disappointed. Made out of laminate. But somehow still SO heavy. Not worth the huge hassle of putting together. The laminate looks cheap and shiny. And chips and buckles so easily. For this price, this desk should at least have a wood veneer instead of laminate. Also, is much bigger in person than it appears in the photos.
I can’t speak to assembly ease or finished product, but due to the abysmal parts quality I’m returning this desk. While I knew it wasn’t going to be solid wood, for 350 and good reviews I expected particle board and not plastic that had an unrealistic picture of wood printed on it. From far away it looks like their photos but if you’re within 5 feet of it it looks awful. It also feels weird.... like plastic with little bumps everywhere... enough that you couldn’t write without padding. I didn’t unbox it fully, but given the state of the box and how it rattled when we brought it inside I’d bet there were missing andor damaged parts. (Pics are exactly how it looked when it arrived then opened. Soda can for scale) I was SO excited about this desk and hate that it didn’t work out. Ive read there’s a desk shortage because of COVID, and given how different my experience is from past reviews I suspect they may have outsourced production or suppliers to meet demand.
Love!! I waited 2 months for these to be back in stock and when I saw that exactly 2 were available I snagged them! They are perfect for our joint home office set up. The nook on the backside was critical for our triple monitor holder bonus secret storage space. The desk is super spacious I can have all my stuff laid out without feeling cramped. Assembly took about 1.5 hrs for the first desk, another hour for the second one. 100 worth the wait for this perfect home office set up!
Really great desk. Looks as pictured. Sturdy top, but the metal legs are questionable. Some of the drawers make a clicking noise when opening and closing, which drives me a little crazy, but that may have been from me not screwing in screws straight.
