Perfect for what I needed in my home study! Very sturdy and holds a lot!!
PROS: Beautiful color, middle drawer slides out nicely, deep storage in cabinet. CONS: This desk is Frankenstein's monster. - FedEx tracking marked the desk as "missing" for about a month but on Wayfair it had it marked as delivered. I will say that a rep at Wayfair was very helpful about locating the desk with FedEx to push that shipment forward somehow. - During assembly, the wood piece that goes under the drawer was broken and unusable. The back of the desk was also incorrectly made where I had to do the opposite of what the instructions told me in order to piece it together. BIGGEST ISSUE: The top piece(s) of the desk. - The top piece is actually 3 pieces that you connect with screws/plates. Because of poor manufacturing, the top pieces never line up and make the entire desk crooked. I have to use coasters underneath the legs of the desk just to keep it SEMI-aligned. The cabinet door touches the cabinet, making it difficult to open/close and the desk always creaks/shifts as I'm using it because of the misalignments. I've taken the top piece off before to try and redo the installation, only to end up with the same results of a very crooked desk. I would have returned it but having to take the desk completely apart and packaging it back up made me feel like something else would go terribly wrong. RECOMMENDATION: I chose this desk for the storage but I would suggest getting the Cyra L Shaped desk instead. My husband uses this desk and has no issues, meanwhile I feel like my Frankenstein desk will crack in half at some point. I was going to get a matching filing cabinet but this purchase made me decide against doing so.
Beautiful piece! The designers who engineered this were very precise. When putting this together, be patient, trust the pieces will fit and come together. You can do this alone, but recommend a second person when attaching the sides to the top. When you’re finished, you’ll be proud that you put this together!
All pieces arrived undamaged. This piece was relatively easy to put together. The drawers pen and close easily. Files can hang all the way across when vertical or theres a divider and one side files can hang horizontally and the other side vertically. Thats one of two downsides I see to this piece. I wish it was wide enough to hang two rows of files horizontally (see picture for clarification). I shouldve thought to measure two files side by side so I wouldve known this piece was too small to do this. The other thing I dont care for is that the back piece is literally a piece of card board rather than press board or manufactured wood. Since it will be against a wall it shouldnt be too much of a problem but it does cheapen the piece. Overall, it looks pretty in my office and matches my other furniture and I like it.
I bought this as a gift for my brother - after coming to rely on my lateral file folder cabinet. The unit comes in a very heavy box - so make sure you're prepared to do some lugging around - with help. The assembly is not for the feint of heart - there are A LOT of pieces - and must be put together in a very particular way. My friend who was helping ended up putting two pieces on the wrong way - and I had to redo all her work. Ouch. But the instruction manual has a nifty feature - QR codes for almost all pages/key steps - which takes you to YouTube for a how-to assembly demo of that particular step. Note, we needed a very small screwdriver for the back cardboard piece - didn't have - so we substituted with a staple gun - worked great. Final piece is sturdy - and looks great. Remember - it doesn't come with file folders, so be sure to put that on your shopping list when the unit shows up. Very happy with it.

Really great file cabinet. It was a lot of work putting it together myself tho. The instructions were pretty easy to follow. Just a lot of work and time consuming putting it together myself.
Love this piece so much I ordered a second one. I happen to enjoy assembling furniture but if you do not I would get help with this one as there are a lot of pieces and it could be overwhelming.
This was a huge pain to build. Took 2 adults to complete despite us being adept at putting furniture like this together. One side drawer panel came badly scratched, by the time we saw it, it wasn’t worth taking the thing apart to send it back. The top has some odd, round shaped residue spots we can’t entirely get off. We’re still trying to adjust the drawers to close flush with the cabinet. It’s taken hours, and we have removed the rails to again try get the drawers to close. So sorry we got this item.
The filing cabinet was the most challenging to put together but instructions were clear. When all was done it is beautiful and very spacious within the drawers.
