First, this is a beautiful desk, I love the look of it and it's very sturdy. Now on why I'm only giving it two stars. I'm the kind of person who takes care of my belongings, especially when I pay what I did for this desk. My issue with this desk is that in about 4-5 months time, the edge began to fray and rub off. I don't wear heaving clothing and just resting my arms on there should not have this effect on it. The finish is just not durable. For that reason I cannot recommend this desk
I love this desk! The wood and details are beautiful and it looks much more expensive than what i paid for it. It is great quality and sturdy. It was very easy to put together—my husband assembled by himself. I highly recommend this desk.
This desk is amazing!!! It fit perfectly in the space I wanted and could not be happier. It was packed extremely well and there were zero dings or scratches which I was really worried about. Zero. Also, I received in 4 days - way ahead of the scheduled delivery date. It was a bit tricky to put together, but once I figured it out only took 30 minutes. **Do not tighten the screws all of the way, only enough to secure. After all of the screws are in THEN tighten them down** This will take 2 people to lift and put together- it is heavy. Looks really expensive and I just love it!! This was my first Wayfair Order and I am so impressed! Can’t wait to order again.
Solid and impressive. Had some shipping damage but Wayfair quickly addressed it. Would suggest ordering a flat writing pad as the desk is rough and has board joints/seams that would affect writing on top of it.

I am in love with this desk! It is beautiful and fits in my space perfectly. I’ve been looking for a desk for a long time and couldn’t find one that I really liked until I saw this one. It was easy to put together and didn’t have one imperfection that I’ve noticed. The only thing that I’m not 100 happy with is the drawer. It doesn’t slide as easily as I would like but it’s not too bad and I can overlook it. I would definitely buy it again.

Looks like you paid thousands. LOVE this desk. Big, heavy, sturdy! You can feel the grain and see the texture. The plates are not metal but they sure look metal. The site said the base is black, but some pictures looked grey. Its both, depending on the light. Easy to assemble. Pieces were perect fit. Gorgeous desk if you like rustic. Could not be happier. AAA+ (bought the chair on Wayfair too)
Decided to upgrade the office since still working from home. This was purchased for my husband, well packed, shipped quickly and was easy to assemble. We paired w/ Chidori Leather Task Chair also from Wayfair - worked well together!!
