Meh. Everything looked fine til we started putting the top on. Major scratches! Now, I get that things get scratched in transit BUT they had attempted to buff them out (terribly) and still sold it to an idiot like me. Also the poor materials used made it impossible to get the top to be flush with frame on one side. I’d return it if it wasn’t such a hassle, which I’m sure they were betting on. Feel duped on this one, gotta be honest. I included photos of the worst areas, but it was hard to get the angle just right. The darker areas are where the original finish has been marred by the buff job they did.
I’m a short, out of shape single mom with back problems and I was able to put this together quite easily. I just paid very close attention to the instructions which were easy to follow. There were the exact amount of parts and one bag of spare parts. Very sturdy and spacious and fits everything I need, including two monitors and the computer tower. I’m happy with my purchase!
Solid construction, built it myself and it looks wonderful.
Overall I really like this desk; I bought this one in brown. Instructions are easy once you figure it out, i.e. what shape and how many of what screws you need. I laid every packet out in ALPHA order so it was easy to assemble. It comes with mini screwdriver and wrench. I ended up using an electric screwdriver because my husband was using the drill at the moment to speed things up. Had I not had this, it would have taken much longer.. lol. A - L SHAPE Instructions. B - STRAIGHT Instructions. My ONLY con about this product is that by the time I finished putting it together I noticed all of the fingerprints on the desk. UGH. Had I known this was the type of desk material I probably would have looked elsewhere but that's just a personal pet-peeve. I intend on making this a craft table, so my prints will be all over more than a normal office space.
Love it! Once its put together its just great but the instructions are lousy.
Bought 2 of them for our home office, put them next to each other to create a HUGE U shaped desk for my wife and I. I was pleasantly surprised with how sturdy and heavy the material is. I honestly expected cheap particle board for the price but what you get is great quality and looks awesome!! Would absolutely buy again/recommend.
The desk is rigid and offers plenty of space however mine had arrived in a battered boxed with several chips and dents in the wood here and there, other than that a pretty solid desk.
Exactly what I was looking for. This desk is sturdy, and perfect size for my needs. Assembly was quick and simple too.
I love it. Fits perfectly in area I wanted. Quick arrival. Easy to assemble. Great for my sewing projects.
Just the size I expected (because I looked at the measurements) and the instructions were super easy. Just read them. Only unclear thing is that instructions "A" are for the L-shaped version and "B" are for the extended long version. Got this one instead of their other identical one because it was more affordable and...identical. There was a small dent but barely noticeable, especially because my monitor base sits on the bottom. The raise storage piece is movable. Use a powered drill if you have one to speed up the build process, but totally easy to do otherwise. It looks very nice, but with that being said, there is no way these pieces are worth near $200 for the quality. Overall, this is just what I needed and I am happy with that.
