The Ani two piece office set is a little on the cheap side, as far as quality goes. The chair is nice. It was easy to assemble and is very soft and luxurious to sit in, however, the desk is made of lightweight steel poles that have to be assembled and it does not seem durable, at all. I would spend a little extra and get a nicer piece of furniture. Also it is made of laminate coated particle board instead of real wood. Ugh! Shipping WAS speedy and even arrived two to three days early. Installation only took about 15 minuets total and the instructions were clear. It is a basic starter set, that would probably suit a student.

I have to start by saying the chair in this set is the most buttery soft velvet. It's a beautiful shade of turquoise as well. The chair swivels & goes up and down easily. The desk is perfect for a small work space - and the different shelf levels are perfect. The "wood" on the desk appears to be MDF covered in a printed wood look contact paper. It's not the most fancy desk set in the world but it still is beautiful.

My daughter happened to need a new desk in her room, and I thought the metal frame would hold up nicely, and the wood shelves would warm the room, especially with a few baskets on the shelf. My daughter helped me put the pieces together. The chair was my favorite part. It had a beautiful velvety aqua color just like the picture, and was very easy to put together. The chairs mechanism allowed her to raise or lower the height of the chair, which worked easily. I think the chair alone was worth the buy. The desk by itself was difficult to put together only because a lot of the holes did not line up. In fact, we had to leave one middle screw completely out because no matter what we did to adjust other areas, it would not go in. The metal frame looked spray painted white, which was fine; however, one bar was sparsely painted. I enclosed a picture below to show. These two reasons were why I did not give the set 5 stars. For two of us to work on, it took us about 1-2 hours to put together. Everything was wrapped nice, there were no dents or scratches, and it all came in a timely manner. Wayfair always does a great job shipping.
