Very nice, thick wood. Multiple shades of brown in grain of wood. Extremely easy to assemble. Takes up a lot of space in a bedroom, but would work well in another living space.

Desk was very easy to assemble, I assembled it by myself. Also, the desk was light weight enough that I was able to bring it upstairs prior to assembly with no need to ask for assistance. I loved that there were two sizes to choose from and after measuring my space, I chose the smaller of the two options. The desk is attractive and sturdy.
