This beater works very well at scraping the sides of my 5 quart glass bowl. Ive only used it for cake and waffle batter, so I can not attest to how well it does with cookie dough.

Buy this!!!! Really, you won't be disappointed. This scrapes the bowl, so you don't have to keep stopping to scrape with your spatula. Works great for all your baking mixing needs. The dough attachment makes it so much easier to make dough for pizza or bread. This machine is very powerful and does take a bit of time to fully learn how to use.

If you purchase a KitchenAid, just go ahead and add this to your order also. I wish they gave this beater with the machine instead of the one without the flex edge (I don’t think I’ve ever used the regular one). This thing scrapes as you mix, it’s great.
