I'm a 51 year old woman that has wanted a KitchenAid Stand Mixer for a long time, I just couldn't justify the cost. Now that I'm more interested in learning to bake I asked for one for Mother's Day. I got the cornflower blue and it's beautiful! As far as I'm concerned, for the price this mixer is the gold standard.
This mixer is so cute! Just having one makes me want to bake all the time. Ive found that the motor cant handle more than 5 cups of flour for a bread recipe in one sitting. So far Ive made pancakes, cheesecakes, and cookies! I absolutely love this product!
Have been using a hand mixer for years because I didn't want a bulky stand mixer on my counter -- boy was I wrong for many reasons. The lines of my KitchenAid Artisan Silver 10 Speed 5 Qt. Stand Mixer are quite sleek and modern. My husband said "the mixer looks like it has always been there, it just blends right in." And, it really does! The mixer itself is easy to use. You can raise the head with the flip of a switch and going from stir to high speed is just as easy. Making real whipped cream for the top of my Apple Pie was the best. I am still waiting to receive the attachment package I purchased with the mixer. Can't wait to slice my own carrots and cucumber for salad; grind my own mix for hamburger; and make Swedish Sausage with my attachments!
I absolutely love this mixer! I originally ordered a bubblegum pink Suncor mixer, I had it for months and the arm for the head broke, of course I was out of the return, Exchange or refund window. I decided to call Wayfair anyways to see if they could do anything and the girl apologized profusely and told me that she would be willing to send me any mixer I wanted for free. She sent me a link told me that she has one of these mixers at home and loves it, once I clicked on the link and followed it sure enough it led me do the KitchenAid mixers! She told me if I didn't find a color that I liked I could pick any stand mixer on the website and they would send it for free, I'm a baker I know all about KitchenAid so of course I picked the dark violet one. The total cost was $639 Canadian and Wayfair shipped it out to me absolutely free of charge! The lady also offered to help ease the frustration by refunding the entire purchase cost of the mixer that broke which was $149. So not only did I get a brand new $700 KitchenAid stand mixer oh, I also got all of my money back from my original purchase! Makes this mixer that much sweeter! Thanks Wayfair for having such great customer service, you've definitely made me a customer for life!
This is one of the best purchases I have made in a while! It makes baking even more fun! It's durable, beautiful, easy to use. I love it!
I love my new Mixer. We all know that the Kitchen Aid products are exceptional so when I bought this one, I knew already it was going to be excellent. Not disappointed at all. The pouring shield, leaves a bit to be desired. I believe there are some flaws in the design and it should be "reshaped" maybe differently. Honestly, the shield , I can take it or leave it. It doesn't really help that much. But this Mixer is durable and also beautiful to look at it!! Ah the choice of colors!!!! that was painful!!! so many beautiful colors to choose from. I think I changed the color 3 times before I finally decided and narrowed down which one I really wanted. So, I went with the Pistachio one. I LOVE IT!!! I kinda like the "retro" look , and I'm also redecorating to a more eclectic style ..so this color is exactly what I needed for my new look. I also personalized it with decals of my choice. It makes it ever prettier and more special. What else can I say???? i love it. Thank you Kitchen Aid , and thank you Wayfair for shipping this product with perfect packaging .
I love this mixer it is easy to use,it can handle anything that you need to mix. It is top notch, durable,and is built to last.
I've always wanted a stand mixer. I finally got this beautiful mixer and I LOVE IT!! I got it in the Ice color which is sort of a retro blue. Love it! Works very well. I've already mixed bread and cookie dough with it. Easy to clean. It came with a little recipe book. I gave it 5 stars because I absolutely love it, but there is one thing...the pouring shield needs to be re-done. A shield is supposed to shield, right? Not so much. In addition the head of the mixer is kind of in the way of the pouring area. Other than that, I would highly recommend this stand mixer to everyone! On a side note, my mom still has her mixer that she got a year after I was born! I won't say exactly how many years that is, but it's a lot! I'm looking forward to using mine for a long time. Pros: Easy to use. Easy to clean. Love the color. Cons: Pouring shield doesn't shield, hard to use, only sits on bowl.
