I bought this table to temporarily fill in a big empty wall and it is PERFECT! The shelf and table top are more substantial than I expected and it took less than 30 minutes to assemble (my son helped!). Really versatile piece at an amazing price and fits our casual/rustic style without looking cheap or too 'home made'. Highly recommend.
The ONLY reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because the wood is manufactured - not real. But you have to examine it up close to tell - it's that good. If this was made with real barn wood or another natural wood - the average buyer would not be able to afford it. I have priced natural wood tables like this for over $2000 dollars. This is one of the best buys I have ever made. It is the perfect size , the perfect color , perfectly sturdy and the best bargain. The distressing is perfectly done. I wish that I had discovered this console before I had finished decorating several other rooms in my house - and I am considering sending a couple of things to yard sale and repurchasing this table ! Very impressed and would highly recommend. What the heck , I'm changing it to 5 stars !
