Love this swing. It was easy to put together and not too difficult to stain. I put it together, hung it up, and then stained it while it was off the ground. If you have the means to let each piece dry separately, I would recommend staining before assembling the swing since there are a few jointed areas that are a little bit tough to reach with a brush once the whole thing is built.

I ordered two of these swings. They arrived within the week of ordering them and I must say they are beautiful. I have only put together the one pictured and will do the second one later this day. The only negative thing I have to say is the directions are a little, head scratching, but, you can figure it out with being patient. The nut that slides into the holes and the bolt that goes into the nut... are the tricky part. But all in all, it took me around 30 minutes to get it together with the help of my husband and son. I saw where some were not happy with the chains color. I, personally, have no problem with the chain's color. It just shows it is a grade A chain. I haven't hung the swing, as of yet. It may be a tad short. By just looking, it seems it may be but, I could be totally wrong on that. I had no problem with holes lining up. I'm thinking, those that did..."may" have "tightened" the bolts and nuts on one end before putting the swing all together and "then" tighten all bolts and nuts down good and tight...if that makes sense? I say this because, that is what I did at first and when I went to place the right side on, the fit was a bit off. I loosened the left end bolts and the right end slid right into place. Hope this helps as you put yours together. The swing is Beautiful, Sturdy and I can't wait to get them both hung on my new porch...and get to swingin'!
