Outstanding quality of materials especially considering the price. The wood tone is beautiful, the slats are well finished and blemish free. The three steel supports and two arms are substantial and thoroughly coated, with sturdy end caps. Fasteners are good quality, also well coated, and feature acorn nuts for visible areas. Gold-colored chains are good to very good quality and attachment spacers and washers are well designed to prevent wear; the whole suspension system would easily support more than the rated 500 lbs. The shipping package is extremely well designed, with internal honeycomb cardboard "beams" on all four sides, and intelligent component arrangement to minimize chances of internal-shifting damage. Instructions are well written, coherent, and well illustrated, including an actual-size fastener component chart and even details about what type of preservative finish to apply if desired, i.e., for outdoor use. *All pieces were present.* Assembly is drop dead easy because the instructions are clear and everything fits perfectly. The finished swing is very solid. Nothing flexes or wiggles, and it is very comfortable. It is even repairable by virtue of design. An extraordinary design from aesthetics to engineering to actual use, this swing is an exceptional value for money. I can scarcely believe I got this thing for under $100; it far surpasses my expectations.

Had this sent to my son and his wife in S. Carolina; she said she loves it, easy to put chains up, and looks like it's sturdy. Good buy.
